SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayin State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Shan State, scattered in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Taunggu (2.17)inches, Bawlakhae (1.34) inches, Hainggyikyun (1.26)inches, Mindat (1.02)inches, Hakha (0.87)inch and Sittwe (0.78)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1st November, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Kachin and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
