According to the observations at (05:30)hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Cell over the inland area of Thailand has moved continuously Westwards and is starting to cross the inland area of Thailand and Kayah, Kayin States(Myanmar). The Low Pressure Cell and remanant clouds are likely continue to move Westwards and crossing to Mon State and Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Naypyitaw, Southern Mandalay, Magway Regions (Myanmar) and Northern Andaman Sea during next (24)hours. Thereafter, continue to move Westwards and it may intensify into a Low Pressure Area over central Bay of Bengal on 23-9-2024. 

Due to the low pressure cell and remanant of clouds, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States with regionally heavyfalls and scattered to fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin States with isolated heavyfalls and strong wind todays morning upto 25-9-2024.

Advisory

 People should be awared the heavy rainfall with strong wind, the natural disasters such as flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight.
