24-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Weather will be partly cloudy in the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition

Above normal rain are likely in Ayeyarwady Region, Rakhine and Chin States and about normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah,  Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (4) to (5)days in Taninthayi Region and about (2) to (3) days in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah,  Kayin and Mon States.

 Night Temperature

          Night Temperature will be (1.5)°C below normal of November average temperature in Shan and Kayah Sates and about normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine,  Kayin and Mon States.

Fog Condition

          Foggy days will be expected (5) to (6) days in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States (3) to (4) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayah,  Kayin and Mon States.
