25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal condition

Two low pressure areas may form over Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.  Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

 Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Kayah and Mon States, about normal rain in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States and below normal in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions.

 Rainy days will be expected (7) to (9) days in  Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and (4) to (6) days in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States.
