25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate to strong.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Above normal rain or thundershowers are likely in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, about (4) to (6) days in  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State.
