24-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure areas may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Central Myanmar Areas during September 26 to 30. Monsoon will be weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Sagaing Region, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and  about (4) to (6) days in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
