25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Deltaic areas during (11-13) of October and from Southern Myanmar areas during (14-18) of October. Weather will be partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and Monsoon will be weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in NayPyiTaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about (3) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin States.
