25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and generally fair in

the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th March, 2015: Light rain or

thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region,  Kachin, Kayin and Mon

States, weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan and

Kayah States and generally fair  in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of

certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of day

temperatures in the Eastern Myanmar areas.
