BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th September, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30) to (35)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
