BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th September, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Upper Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sgaing, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine and Mon States.
