18-12-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and reach to North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move nearly Northwards and move along Andhra Pradesh Coast during 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair in the elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th February, 2015: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State, weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin and Shan States, generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in the Upper Myanmar areas.
