BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:00)hrs M.S.T today,
the depression over the South Bangladesh and adjoining west Bengal has
moved Northwestward. It is located at about (30)miles East of Krishnanagar
(India) and (20)miles Southeast of Chuadanga(Bangladesh). It is forecast
to move North-Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th August, 2016: Rain or
thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway
Regions, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper
Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin and Kayin States and widespread in the
remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in
Rakhine State, isolated heavy falls in Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree
of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced
off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)
m.p.h.Likelihood of moderate to rough sea elsewhere in Maynmar water.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
