BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th August, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
