23-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past

(24) hours, weather have been generally fair in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon

States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures

were about February average temperatures in the whole country. The significant

night temperatures were (6°C) each in Loilin and Pyinoolwin , (7°C) each in

Lashio and Namsam.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea and partly

cloudy to cloudy in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th February, 2015: Light rain

are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States,

weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree

of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of night

temperatures in the Upper Myanmar areas.
