SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During
the past (24) hours, weather has been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay
and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State, scattered in Magway, Yangon and
Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago
Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and
States . The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Maungdaw
(2.40)inches, Hkamti (1.77)inches, Paletwa (1.73)inches, Zaung Tu
(1.42)inches, Sittwe (1.38)inches, Kyobinkauk (1.30)inches,
Kyainseikkyi (1.11)inches, Taunggu (Avia) (1.10)inches and Tamu
(1.02)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay
of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th July, 2016: Rain or
thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Saging Region, Kachin,
Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Shan and
Kayah States, scattered in the remaining Regions and States with
isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
