BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th June, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35 - 40) m.p.h.
