BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th June, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Eastern and Southern) Shan and Rakhine States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate in elsewhere Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
