BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify during next (24)hours. Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th October, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay Region, Shan and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
