SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, scattered in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Kawthong (5.51)inches, Singaing (3.24) inches, Amarapura (2.48)inches, Tada U (2.28)inches, Hmawbi (1.73)inches, Mandalay (1.58) inches and Sagaing (1.41)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the North Bay, monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, scattered in Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
