SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Chin State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Nay Pyi Taw and Magway Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Kachin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Thabeikkyin (5.08)inches, Shwebo (3.54)inches, Kawthong (3.19)inches, Moekok (2.80)inches, Kanbalu(2.48)inches, Putao (2.21)inches, Loilin (2.05)inches and Singu (1.97)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the North Bay, monsoon is moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region, Kachin and Mon States, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwday Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions.
