BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Central Bay has moved to Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal and still persists. Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and strong in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Frequent squalls with rough sea will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
