BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (05:30) hrs MST today, the low pressure area over West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in and Magway Region,scattered in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Regions, ှShan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h.
