SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay and Bago Regions, Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myauk U (5.67)inches, Paung (4.06)inches, Hkamti (4.02)inches, Madauk (3.58)inches, Shwegyin (3.31)inches, Maungdaw (3.15)inches, Phyarpon and Naungtone (2.90)inches each, Nyaunglaybin (2.63)inches and Thandaunggyi (2.52)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Madalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway Region, Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
