BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “Komen”, corssing to Southern Coasts of Bengladesh still persists as a deep depression. It is forecast to move Northwest wards and weaken gradually nest (12)hrs commencing morning today. Monsoon is strong to vigorous in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 31st July, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in the whole country with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region and Kayin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Frequent squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40 - 50) m.p.h.
