SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Tiddim (2.56)inches, Theinzayet (1.93)inches, Hinthada (1.46)inches, Hkamti (1.34)inches, Myaungmya (1.30)inches, Shwegyin (1.26)inches, Kyaukpyu and Madauk (1.10) inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd July, 2015: Rain will be widespread in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kayin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
