SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Paletwa (2.87)inches, Thandaunggyi (2.40)inches, Homalin (2.21)inches, Maungdaw (1.93)inches, Loilin (1.61)inches, Pathein (1.57)inches, Kanbalu and Naungcho (1.50)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 13th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likely to be isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar water.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in the Upper Myanmar areas.
