SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, kayah States. Rain or thundershowers havebeen isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Norther Shan, Kayin States, scattered inthe remaining Regionsand States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.34) inches in Natoggyi, (1.93) inches in Putao, (1.61) inches in Myaungmya, (1.10) inches in Bogale, (0.87) inch each in Paletwa and Yangon(Botahtaung), (0.83) inch in Pathein, (0.80) inch in Kyaiklat, (0.71) inch in Kyeikmayaw and (0.63) inch in Machanbaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in UpperSagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Weak monsoon.
