BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 17th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Chin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Magway Region and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30- 35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
