SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Chin State, 3°C to 4°C above January average temperatures in Magway, Sagaing Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.8°C in Hakha, 4.4°C in Tiddim, 4.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 5.0°C in Putao, 6.8°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 7.5°C in Loilin, 9.0°C in Mongyang, 9.7°C in Myitkyina and 10.0°C in Pinlaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8thJanuary 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
