SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below January average temperature in Kachin State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 4.0°C in Hakha, 4.8°C in Tiddim, 5.3°C in Putao, 6.2°C in Heho, 6.7°C in Pyinoolwin, 6.9°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 7.0°C each in Myitkyina and Machanbaw, 7.6°C in Pinlaung, 7.8°C in Loilin and 9.9°C in Hkamti. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.08 inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6thJanuary 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
