BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off South Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to weaken gradually into a Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the Eastcentral and Southeast Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, the tropical strom “PABUK” over South China Sea has moved Southwestwards and weakened into a Tropical Depression. It is likely forecast to move West-Southwestwards and gradually weaken into a Low Pressure Cell near Southeastern Vietnam coasts around 26-12-2024.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th December 2024: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region.
