BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay(off South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu Coasts) still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach Southwest Bay of Bengal(near North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India) during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Strom “PABUK”over south china sea has moved slowly West-Northwest and still persist. It is likely to move slowly West- Southwest and reach to Eastern Vietnam coasts during 25-12-2024.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th December 2024: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States.
