BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify and move West-Northwestwards and reach to Tamil Nadu Coasts, India during next 2 days. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th December 2024: Rain are likely to be isolated in Mandalay, Magway ,Sagaing Region and Chin:Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy Regions and Kayin,Mon State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States.
