BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Bay of Bengal has reached over Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify and move West-Northwestwards and reach to Tamil Nadu Coasts, India during next 2 days. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th December 2024: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
