SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and Chin State, isolated in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below December average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, 3°C to 4°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and 5°C above December average temperature in Mandalay Region and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 6.7°C in Putao, 7.0°C in Hakha, 8.4°C in Myitkyina, 9.8°C in Machanbaw, 10.5°C each in Namsan(Southern Shan) and Loilin, 11.0°C each in Heho, Tiddim and 11.3°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls record were 0.32 inch in Tiddim, 0.28 inch in Mawlaik, 0.24 inch in Yeu, 0.16 inch each in Hakha, Kalewa and Kalay and 0.08 inch each in Tamu and Mingin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd December 2024: Rain will be scattered in Chin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
