SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State and widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperature in Kachin State and 2°C above November average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Rakhine State, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, 5°C above November average temperature in Southern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.0°C in Hakha, 7.0°C in Putao, 10.0°C in Tiddim, 10.2°C in Machanbaw, 11.0°C in Heho, 11.4°C in Myitkyina and 11.7°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls record were 1.14 inches in Kengtung, 0.51 inch in Hakha, 0.39 inch in Mongyang, 0.32 inch in Yeu, 0.23 inch in Kawthaung, 0.16 inch in Pinlaung and 0.12 inch each in Homalin, Kalewa, Tamu, Kanbalu and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 670 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 200 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 185 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th November 2024: Rain will be widespread in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah States.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Isolated light in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Mandalay Regions.
