SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C to 4°C below November average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States and 2°C above November average temperatures in (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin States, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were -1.0°C in Hakha, 7.0°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.4°C in Tiddim, 8.8°C in Putao, 9.5°C in Heho, 9.8°C in Myitkyina and 10.7°C in Namsan(Southern Shan). The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was 0.39 inch in Coco Island.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 740 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 300 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th November 2024: Rain will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.
