SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below November average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States and 2°C above November average temperatures in (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 6.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.7°C in Tiddim, 8.5°C in Namsam(Southern Shan), 8.9°C in Loilin, 9.0°C in Heho, 9.2°C in Pinlaung, 9.8°C in Myitkyina, 10.8°C in Mongyang and 11.0°C in Taunggyi. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was 0.16 inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 570 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th November 2024: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
