SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, 3°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.2°C in Hakha, 9.3°C in Putao, 9.7°C in Pyinoolwin. 10.3°C in Tiddim, 10.5°C in Namsam(Southern Shan) and 12.0°C in Myitkyina. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record were 0.91 inch in Kawthaung, 0.79 inch in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), 0.71 inch in Myitkyina, 0.55 inch in Homalin and 0.16 inch in Hakha.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd November 2024: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Saging, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State. Rain will be scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
