BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the Typhoon(MAN-YI) over the South China Sea has moved Westwards and downgraded into a Severe Tropical Storm(MAN-YI). The Severe Tropical Storm(MAN-YI) is likely forecast continue to move Westwards and reach near Hainan Island around the morning of 20-11-2024.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th November 2024: Rain will be scattered in Bago, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
