SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Chin State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Southern Shan State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperatures in Bago Region and Chin State and 2°C above November average temperature in (Northern and Southern) Shan State, 3°C above November average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.0°C in Hakha, 10.2°C in Tiddim and 10.6°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 10.28 inches in Kungyangon, 8.23 inches in Phyu, 6.06 inches in Namsam(Southern Shan), 5.50 inches in Okpho, 5.08 inches in Danubyu, 4.84 inches in Zalun, 4.53 inches in Tharrawady, 4.37 inches in Hainggyigyun, 4.09 inches in Pinlaung and 3.35 inches each in Gyobingauk and Coco-Island.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Eastcentral Bay and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
