SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Ayeyarwady Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kayin State and widespread in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below November average temperature in Chin State and 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 6.0°C in Hakha, 10.0°C in Tiddim, 10.5°C in Nansam(Southern Shan), 11.5°C in Pyinoolwin and 12.0°C in Loilin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.01 inches in Maubin, 1.57 inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), 1.34 inches in Kawthaung, 0.75 inch in Bago, 0.59 inch in Myawaddy, 0.32 inch in Dawei and 0.28 inch in Hpa-an(Agro-Met).
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan, Chin States.
