BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm“TRAMI” that reached the interior of Vietnam has moved Southeastwards and reached over South Chian Sea. It is forecast likely to move East slowly.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 28th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kayin, Mon States, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is 100%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
