19-12-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and reach to North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move nearly Northwards and move along Andhra Pradesh Coast during 36 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm“TRAMI” over Vietnam coast is likely to return Southeastwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Kayin, Mon States, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is 100%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
