22-12-2024:According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Westcentral Bay of Bengal almost stataionary and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely forecast to weaken gradually over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression that crossed Odisha coasts near Puri(India) has moved North-Northwestwards and continue crossing interior Odisha.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Cells over Northern Laos has moved West-Northwestwards still persists. It may weaken gradually into a wave and reached the border of China-Myanmar.It is likely to continue to move West-Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Chin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph.  Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
