22-12-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Southwest Bay of Bengal(North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts)India during 24-12-2024. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal partly and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is  moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing ,Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin , Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw ,Mandalay  Regions and Kachin,(Southern and Eastern) Shan.Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing,  Mandalay Regions and Kachin,(Southern and Eastern) Shan , Rakhine States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan State.
