22-12-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Southwest Bay of Bengal(North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts)India during 24-12-2024. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal partly and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 14th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
