23-12-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Southwest Bay of Bengal(North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts)India during 24-12-2024. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally  heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin,  Shan, Chin, Rakhine States. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
