SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.70 inches in Paing Kyone, 2.48 inches in Khayan, 2.36 inches in Myitkyina, 2.20 inches in Zalun, 2.09 inches in Hkamti, 2.05 inches in Dawei, 2.03 inches in Kyonpyaw, 1.93 inches in Putao, 1.74 inches in Laiway and 1.69 inches in Kyeikmayaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
