BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
